About Wool
Merino Wool is 100% natural. Being nature’s miracle fibre, no-one has ever been able to replicate its properties artificially.
Merino Wool reacts to your body temperature, and helps regulate it. Wool is all seasonal, it keeps you cool in summer, and warm in winter.
Merino Wool is a naturally hypoallergenic product, and is resistant to bacteria, dust mites and mould.
Merino wool is breathable. Quite simply put - the air pockets allow for moisture to be wicked away before it becomes sweat, making wool the very best product to nestle up to.
Merino Wool is naturally odour and stain resistant, therefore easy to clean. Spot clean with a damp cloth when spillage occurs and lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. Refer to your wash care for more instructions.
Merino Wool is 'green' so to speak. At the end of its long and durable life, when returned to the earth, it will biograde completely and replenish the soil with valuable nutrients in the process.
Merino Wool is naturally flame resistant due to its unique composition. For example, nylon catches fire at around 160°C whereas temperatures must reach between 560- 600°C before wool will ignite.
Because of the wool’s ability to effectively manage moisture, odour-causing bacteria don’t have the moist environment they need to thrive, making wool naturally odour resistant as a result.
Merino Wool fibres are extremely fine, enabling them to bend far more than
traditional, coarser wool fibres. This makes Merino Wool feel soft and luxuriously gentle next to your skin.
